A New Chapter Begins...

A Message from HG Haskell III

After many wonderful years of growing and sharing produce with the Chadds Ford community, I’m proud to announce a new chapter for this cherished farm stand. I have confidently passed the baton to Ramsey’s Farm, a fifth- and sixth-generation family farm led by Stewart and Carl Ramsey, whose roots in local agriculture date back to 1860.

The new stand, now called New Roots by Ramsey’s Farm, will open its doors on Wednesday, June 4th and will be open seven days a week from 9 AM to 6 PM. While the name and faces are new, the values remain unchanged—community, quality, and care for the land.

The Ramseys are committed to honoring the legacy we’ve built here. They’ll be continuing to grow in many of the same fields, using our high tunnels and much of the same rich soil that produced the famous HG tomatoes you’ve come to love.

In addition to fresh, seasonal vegetables and local favorites, New Roots by Ramsey’s Farm is excited to bring their own American Wagyu beef, raised with the same dedication and attention to quality that defines everything they do.

This land and stand have meant the world to me, and I’m truly grateful to see them carried forward by such capable and passionate hands. Please stop by, say hello, and support this new chapter.
