What a night! Our Field to Fork Dinner with Chef Gerald Allen & Friends brought everyone together for an evening filled with incredible food, locally sourced ingredients, and the kind of atmosphere that makes this event so special. From dishes inspired by what’s grown close to home to gathering around the table with friends old and new, the evening was a true celebration of farm-fresh food and community. A huge thank you to Chef Gerald Allen & Friends and to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s dinner one to remember.

As I stepped into retirement and closed the chapter on SIW Vegetables , I wasn’t sure what the future held for the beloved farm stand that has meant so much to me, my family, and this incredible community. Thanks to the dedication and passion of the Ramsey family and the launch of New Roots by Ramsey’s Farm , the stand was not only saved from closing — it’s thriving. Many of the same homegrown products and traditions you’ve come to expect are still here, alongside fresh energy and new ideas. The legacy lives on, and I couldn’t be more grateful. To everyone who supported this transition — thank you. Your visits, kind words, and continued patronage mean the world. I’m truly touched by how this community rallied around New Roots and embraced the next generation of local farming. They’ll be back in 2026, and I can’t wait to see what they grow next. We're also especially hopeful that the bridge construction will finally be complete by then — making it even easier to swing by the stand and support this hardworking family.
