Host Your Private Event at the Farm

The Barn at Hill Girt Farm was originally a dairy farm built in the early 1800's. Today, the rustic barn remains on a 700-acre working, family farm in the serene countryside of beautiful Chester County, Pennsylvania; less than an hour from Philadelphia. The picturesque farm is complete with flowers, fruits, and vegetables growing in the fields.

Our farm offers a versatile venue for gatherings of various sizes, with a reception capacity ranging from 40 to 140 guests. For larger groups exceeding 140, we can accommodate with tented options. With the capability to host one event at a time, we ensure that your special occasion receives our undivided attention. Ideal for weddings, engagement parties, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, birthday and anniversary celebrations, as well as corporate events, our scenic setting promises memorable moments for all occasions.

Interested in renting our barn for your next event? Great! Each rental includes:

Cost of barn rental: $7,000 Mid May through Late October

Additional charges may apply “off-season”

  • 14 farm tables and chairs for 100 people
  • Dance floor
  • Hidden catering area
  • Grass area for the ceremony adjacent to barn
  • Outdoor space for high tops
  • Representative for basic troubleshooting and vendor consultation
  • Walk-In Cooler
  • Executive porta-potty trailer
  • The area immediately outside barn and parking for 75-100 cars adjacent to the barn
  • Preferred Vendor List
  • You can customize your event with your favorite caterer or we are happy to provide you with a list of wonderful catering options.


Not Included but available upon request:

  • Lawn space for tents to accommodate 250 people
  • Additional ceremony locations on farm
  • Guest-house for accommodation, dressing, hair, etc.
  • Cook tent 20' x 20'
  • Professional event planning

Please note: Our barn is part of a working farm and attendees can expect to see activity from field workers, tractors, etc. We do our best to ensure little or no disturbance during the ceremony, but it is a working farm.
